Changing transaction dates when downloading

Can the date field be locked so my manual input date isn't overridden by the banks date? For example, all transactions I enter from Friday through Monday will clear the bank on Tuesday and so when I download Tuesday morning, all transactions from Friday through Monday now show in the register with Tuesdays date. Very annoying!

    You can do this right now with a preference setting. Go to Settings > Connected Services and uncheck the checkbox for "Use posted date for matched transactions (instead of the date you enter manually)." With that box unchecked, Quicken should retain the date you enter while matching the downloaded transactions.
