How to turn off automatic categories for new transactions?

Quicken Mac Subscription Member ✭✭
We are seeing transactions getting automatically categorized for which we have not set a payee rule. I suspect Quicken is using some data from the credit card issuer (they often show categories on statements) or some other source to guess. How do I turn this off? I find it is often incorrect. I would rather have everything I have not explicitly created a rule for to be Uncategorized.

Go to the Connected Services tab in Settings and uncheck "Automatically improve the quality of downloaded payee names and categories". That should stop Quicken from changing categories outside of your own rules.
