Option on Planning tab to only show Balance for previous months

It is the time for the year when my display is not large enough to show the current month on my display when clicking on the Planning Tab. I have to scroll to the right every time to get to the current month. Would like to have an option to display only the "Balance" for preceeding months siimilar to the "Show Details for Future Months" option presently available. New option may read something like "Show only Balance for Previous Months".
