Loan Depot

Unable to connect to Loan Depot to update my loan? Anyone else have this problem, or is it just my luck??

    Trying to add a new account Loan Depot I get the choice of two same-name entries:

    • 68308 68308 68308 Loan Depot 877-420-4526 ACTIVE BANKING,CREDIT,ACCOUNTINFO&EXP-WEB-CONNECT NOT_QBP NA
    • 61920 61920 61920 Loan Depot 1 (800) 223-6527 ACTIVE BANKING,ACCOUNTINFO&EXP-WEB-CONNECT NOT_QBP NA

    Which one are you trying to connect to? Which one would be the correct one to choose?

    Having picked the correct one, what error messages or error codes do you get?

    Personally, I would like to recommend maintaining your loan account as an "offline" (manual) loan account, not connected to the bank for transaction downloading. An offline account gives you better results in the form of a correct payment schedule, a transaction register for the loan payments and a scheduled reminder for your checking account, with correct amounts for each monthly principal and interest.

    Thank you for the reply.

    I tried setting up with both Log-in's and message ready "unable to connect to your financial institution. So I called Loan Depot, they admittedly do not give permission to Quicken.

    So I took your advice, and I set up the loan "offline".
