I moved mutual funds to new broker and am liquidating the funds

It seems I can't close the investment accounts. What is the best way to handle them? I only downloaded for balance; historical details of shares, transactions aren't needed. Should I delete the accounts? or? Using Quicken Deluxe R52.33.

I would set up the new brokerage account, and then use the transfer shares-all to move them to the new account. Then liquidate them there. Are you downloading there? If so you can delete the add shares transactions that the new account will send you, assuming you have transferred all first. When the old account is empty you should be able to close it.
