One Step Freezing

I have used quicken for years. Recently one-step freezes part way through update. Eventually I need to use task manager to restart quicken. Update actually covered 4 accounts, but failed to completed many others, including Chase, Fidelity and others.

I have read several threads on this. Seems like no convincing fix exists. Is there any general communication from Quicken on this issue. Can it really be fixed, and if so will Quicken announce a path to fix it?

My sessions never freeze so it's not a systemic Quicken issue. It would appear that your data file is corrupt. To troubleshoot this, create a new data file, enter some FI's to run OSU and see if it freezes. If the new file does not freeze, you need to restore a backup from before you had the issue.

Thanks Ralph. I will try that. I am glad it is not a systematic issue.
