Can't figure out how to manually match a downloaded trnsaction to on eI had manually entered
My downloaded transaction doesn't automatically match the one I manually entered because the amount turned out to be different. When I right click on either transaction there is a grayed out/inactive option to "unmatch", but there is no option to match. This Quicken support page says their should be. It seems like a bug:
If you need to modify a downloaded transaction, use the Edit button that appears below the transaction when it is selected.
- For transactions that should match an existing register transaction but do not:
- If the selected transaction is not currently marked as Matched, but should be matched to one or more transactions already in your Quicken register, click the Edit button and then choose Match Manually. Quicken opens a window to allow you to select one or more transactions.
Can anyone assist? I hope I'm doing something wrong.

Hello @Gsquared,
The instructions you found are for Quicken Classic for Windows.
In Quicken Classic for Mac, manual matching is done by dragging the downloaded transaction and dropping it on top of the manual transaction (or vice versa). You can also find these instructions in this support article.
I hope this helps!

thank you very much. Where can I find help/support articles just for Mac Quicken Classic?

You're welcome! All support articles are available at https://www.quicken.com/support. Using the search bar will find articles for both Mac and Windows. However, if you click on the red "Search" button without entering any keywords, on the following screen, you will see filter options on the lefthand side where you can select Mac and deselect Windows isee image below).
Also, note that some articles contain instructions for both Windows and Mac and are separated by a tab at the top of the article as shown in the following image below.
Last, you can also find search results for Mac only Help Article at this link.
I hope this helps!
