Reinstall Quicken for Windows

I have a new computer. The previous PC is still functional and available. After reinstalling Quicken, is it best to just copy over the qdf file to the new PC and open it, or should I do a restore from a back up?

    it’s the same file - just copy the QDF and maybe also some of the local backup files

    how did you install the new Quicken ?

    Thanks for the quick response.

    I haven't actually installed it yet. My plan was to log into my account and download the latest version and install.

    Current Windows is 10 Pro, new will be 11 Pro. Any known issues with that?
