Add investment history

I recently added my brokerage account to One Step Updating. All works well except now I have lost my historical data that was manually entered strictly as a cash value for each account.

Is there a way that I can manually enter my account history?

Should I add an account, such as Brokerage History and just enter cash values for the history, and then go to a zero cash value when I reach the One Step Updating account balance?

Also, is there a way to enter these values in a table view rather than as single entries by date?

Thanks,

Frank

clarify.. a brokerage account would have buy/sell of transactions with equity securities. Were you entering these types of transactions manually ? Or what ?

Previously I was just entering a cash amount for each investment account. Now that I have linked them I have all my shares and transactions from Oct-2023 on.

What I want to do is enter my accounts history prior to Oct. Should I just create a separate account (stock-old) and just entering the total value as cash for months prior to Oct?
