Reconcile a line of credit or Heloc account in Quicken Mac

I have a Heloc, 2nd mortgage account with my bank that I use as a line of credit. I cannot seem to be able to reconcile it since it has a negative balance. I spend money out of it and need to reconcile it but cannot figure out how to do it. My bank downloads the transactions correctly, the only issue is reconcilation.

What kind of reconciliation are you trying to do? Are you reconciling to a statement or to the online balance?

reconciling a statement. I am using my heloc loan as a checking account to reduce my interest payments by taking advantage of the float on checks.
