The word "quickenerror" indicates the name of your currently open Quicken data file. You must have created a new file using this name.
Click the File menu.
Look at the bottom of the popup menu. There should be a list of up to 4 file names you used in the past.
File 1 is the currently open quickenerror file
File 2 is file you used before.
Files 3 and 4, if present, represent older filesClick on file 2 to open it and begin to use it.
When you're done working with Quicken for the day, close Quicken. Quicken will remember that you used file 2 today and move its name into the file 1 position. When you open Quicken again, it will always open file 1 by default.0
