Creating a new category in an existing group

I use quicken rental property and would like to create new categories in this existing group. So far I have only being able to create sub-categories. How can I do that? I would like to keep all my financial movements only in the rental property component.

To cause a category to be treated as a rental property category by default, assign a Schedule E tax line item to the category in the Category List.

Categories need not always be treated according to their Category List grouping (Personal, Business, Rental Property).

To cause a category in a specific transaction to be treated differently than its default (as indicated in Category List): right-click the transaction, select "Tax line item assignments", and assign the desired tax line item to that specific transaction.
