Downloads of investment transactions from IBKR

I'm very happy with how IBKR downloads directly to Quicken however I'm stuck on something. I have mix of US and CAD stocks in an account that downloads. The IBKR file can add new US purchases and sales to my CAD denominated account in Quicken but I cannot manually add or adjust a US stock in that register. Any ideas?

I'm not 100% certain I understand the question you are asking, but if the question is how to handle an investment account that has both a USD currency component and a CAD currency component, then yes…. In that case, you need to create two accounts in Quicken for the one account at your financial institution. Denominate one in CAD and one in USD. I've had this setup for RBC Directing Investing accounts for years. It works well.
