adding 401 emp match line item

how do i add a 401 emp match line to my paycheck? i already have the 401K deduction as line item?

I don't think it really needs to be on your paycheck split transaction. You can simply show it as a deposit to the 401k.

However, if you do want it on the paycheck transaction, you would show it as a income line (positive amount) with some non-taxable income category, then you would add another line showing a Transfer (negative amount) to your 401k. The positive and negative lines will cancel each other out so that the net amount of the transaction remains the same.
