Adding Bank/Credit Union CDs to the Watch list

I fully appreciate that bank cds are not like brokerage cds. But bank cds have a maturity date that needs to be monitored. When I download my bank information, it adds the CD as a separate account with the bank, which makes sense. But I don't seem able to add it to the Watch List to monitor maturity dates as they come due. I entered the bank CD information into the securities list so that it shows up there, and I added the maturity date, which is 60 days from now. But it's still not showing up. How can I make that happen, if it can't be done, how weird is that? — it's an perennial issue that must be affecting many thousands of people every year.

I'm a Windows user, but I think this applies. For Quicken to consider a CD to being "maturing" it has to see that you own that security. Entering it into the security list and putting on the Watch List doesn't do that. The Watch List is for monitoring price changes, not maturity dates of securities you don't own.

The fact that banks treat CDs as savings accounts and brokers treat them as securities really munges things up.
