How do I generate a monthly and weekly budget report comparing actual to budget

I wish to be able to track, by category a monthly and weekly budget report showing actual to budget spending for each category to allow more real time spending adjustment.

Currently I generate mannually a report that shows annual comparision then monthly. I then go to reports and use current budget and generate a report that is then summarized giving me a view of anything that is either greater than $100.00 overspending or simply a timing issue.

There must be a better and more accurate way of doing this.

Once you have saved a Current Budget Report for say 2024, you can select periods of time that you want to look at by using the interval selection
