Help Resolving Investment Placeholders

I can’t figure out how to correct missing transactions for this one security through placeholders. I managed to get to the placeholders entry window shown below. How do I correct each individual entry shown? I don’t want to simply do a lump correction for 21.965 shares with an estimated cost basis. Is there a way to correct each of the five entries individually to reconcile the 21.965 share difference?

What you are looking at is the transactions (non-placeholders) that are actually in your account.

Quicken can't display what is missing other than it is 21.965 shares.

You can enter those missing shares however you like (Bought would take money from the account, Add will do it without changing the cash amount). To do it perfectly correct you would have to find the transaction(s) that actually correspond to these shares (either changing existing ones or add new one(s)) at your financial institution.

How accurately you are going to be able to do that depends on what information you can find. Once you have that information you can select Enter Missing Transaction… And enter the one (or keep coming back to enter more than one) until you have accounted for all of the 21.965 shares. Note make sure the date(s) entered before the date of the placeholder.

P.S. After this is done, you will end up with a placeholder with zero shares that you can just delete.
