Added Target RedCard - now i have a mess
I have added the Target RedCard to my Quicken Deluxe (R53.32) and the good news is that i get all downloaded transactions on my RedCard added to that account. The bad news is that if any other account is used to make a Target purchase (or return) then they also get added to the Target RedCard account within Quicken.
This results in a mess with then every account that touches Target having an incorrect balance and I have to 'unwind' the last X weeks of transactions each time someone uses the non-RedCard account to make a purchase from Target.
Any suggestions on fixing Quicken rules to not smudge all of these accounts together? I would have thought that all transactions from an account go only into that account when downloading - what rule controls where transactions go once downloaded?
I would appreciate someone's help.
