unable to download TD Ameritrade transactions

I previous user asked this and then answered their own question by stating "handled it like a rebranding problem". I have no idea what they did or what that means.

    I expect that what they mean by that is this:

    1. Disconnect the TD Ameritrade from downloading.
    2. Disconnecting allows you to erase the Financial Institution and Account Number on the General tab of the Account Details screen.
    3. Having done that you go into the Online Services tab and click on "Set up Now…" to reconnect the Account
    4. That will allow you to tell Quicken that the Account is now at Schwab and Quicken should find that Account
    5. You then LINK that Account to the old TD Ameritrade Account

    I still have all but five accounts at Ameritrade, and all of them stopped updating. The one account they switched to Schwab updates fine.

    So should I use steps 2 and 3 and see if they update?
