Why does the By Tag report only show the summed amount by Tag and a dash in the details?

I am on Build 27.1.53.32 on Quicken Classic Deluxe using a PC on Windows 11 Home. I am trying to get the details of my holiday spending by tag using the Itemized Tags under Spending reports. It is giving me the summed amount by tag but the details only show a dash on both split and non-split transactions. I have clicked on "reset columns" in the report settings and this doesn't change it. I also find it strange that the dollar sign is in the Num column. All my transactions are in credit card accounts and the Num column isn't an option to have in the credit card account register. a minor thing but just wanted to share.

I have finally figured out I can get it using the "Spending by Category" report and clicking on Subtotal, choosing "Tag", then limiting the category to the one I want, and removing the Category and Tag in the "Show Columns" in the report settings. Why won't the By Tag do the same with less steps? It seems much more intuitive to get this simply by using the By Tag report.

Thanks, and Happy New Year!

The columns in your Itemized Tags report are too narrow. Widen them to see their contents.

That's not a dollar sign, it's an S for Split.

Thank you. It never occurred to me that I would need to expand it after Quicken creates it…would have thought it would create it wide enough.
