Entries Changed to "Uncategorized"
Yesterday I discovered over 200 personal bank and credit card account
entries (each of them previously verified and then reconciled by myself)
mysteriously now appearing as "uncategorized". The vast majority
appearing between 2018 - 2022. Old printed reports show these same
transactions as categorized. These are frustrating & unwanted
changes. Can I remedy this? Is there a way to prevent this from
happening again?

Do you have a backup to revert to before this happened. That's about the only way to fix it now.
Do you use Mobile/Web? That is, do you have Sync turned ON in Settings > Connected Services. The only thing that I'm aware of that causes this is mobile Sync glitches. Many of us have learned not to trust mobile Sync and have turned it off. Unfortunate as it can be a useful function, but not worth the possible headache.
