Paying bills and using credits

After a call to customer support I have found that there is no way to select one of several credit associated with a vendor. The only option currently is to apply ALL existing credits when paying a bill. It would be great to have a list of credits similar to the quickbooks format so that you can pick from the list what you want to use.

If someone knows of a workaround that would be fantastic
