How do I delete user defined items in the "num/ref" list in the check number column

I have Quicken Premere for PC. In the distant past, I added some items to the check # column drop down menu that I no longer need. Besides the check number, I use it to show an ATM transaction, transfers, etc that I defined and are extra to what was already there.

I cannot delete them, as when I go to edit the list, those items do not appear, but, they are in the list when I click on the column in the register (checking register).

Is there any way to access this list other than "edit list" as that does not work.

Are you sure that these items were added to the Num List using the Edit List dialog before you started using them in the Check # field?

Are you in a Checking account register when you attempt to access the Edit List dialog? It won't work with other types of accounts.

If you want to remove certain text from the Check # field of transactions where you used it, you can use the Edit / Find/Replace dialog to blank out this field

The (I believe) predefined list of 6 selections (Next Check, ATM, Deposit, Print Check, Transfer, and EFT) cannot be deleted. Any user created entries should be listed below those and should be able to be edited or deleted.
