What exactly does this error message mean?

If I try to change the category of a group of transactions using Find & Replace I get this message. If I manually open up one of the transactions in question and change the category I can do so with no problem. I have literally hundreds that I would like to change so doing them one at a time is not really an option.

    The find/replace process does not work on the individual lines in a split transaction. In other words, you can only do the find/replace on transactions that show a category in the register and not the word split.
