Quicken used to report an error if it was attempted to add a file via the "Add File" dialogue, and the file was open in another application. Now, it fails silently, and simply doesn't add the file if it is open.
By "Add File", are you talking about Attachments?
Because I couldn't find a menu command by that name anywhere in my Q.
