Vanguard probably with input from my employer switched 401K target fund on me. The prev one I was tracking in quicken for last few years. The new one, using symbol lookup- does not find it … the mutual fund is "Target Retirement 2035 Trust Plus". I do have fund number and CUSIP numbers but this is not enough to define one. What are my options here to be able to add this func and track it in quicken ?

The word "Trust" in the fund name indicates that this is not a publicly traded fund.

That means that Quicken's quote provider will not have data on it, and thus the price and other data will not be updated when you update quotes. But if you are connected to Vanguard to download transactions for this account, the price will be updated when you d a One Step Update.

The first time you download a transaction for this fund, Quicken will display a message that the fund was not found and asking if you want to match it to an existing security or add a new one. Pick Add.
