Budget Actual Forcasting
Hi, I am setting up my budget, and have tried several different methods. Quicken keeps populating actuals for the year. I want to see the year with the actuals that have occurred, not what Quicken thinks I will spend.
Thanks!

Current Budget Report will show you two columns, the first being the actual values for the period specified and the second Budget values for same period…

If you don't want to see Actual Amounts based on future dated Scheduled Reminders, you can turn this off in the Planning Tab / Budgets view. Click Budget Actions / View Options. Remove the checkmark at "Include reminders".

I just checked this and the "Budget" value in the middle column does not display the overall value budgeted for the month. It displays the amount of the budget that is equivalent to the amount of time that's passed in the month. So today (8 Jan) it is showing the amount that was budgeted for the first 8 days of the month.
Would be more useful if it just displayed the total budgeted per category for the whole month.

You are using month to date as the period of time use Customized Time Period Change To Monthly or whatever other time period you want.
