Validation Crashes and Support Says to Start a New File - 20 years gone...

I've been on Quicken for almost 2 decades. Lately, my 401k wouldn't auto-accept the transactions. Quicken would lock up. I tried to validate the file, but that would also lock up on 'Checking Stock Splits', so I contacted support. Over 2 hours of disabling virus scans (Native Win10 Defender), copying and removing 10 years of history, moving files to different directories, and trying again, it still won't validate without locking up.

Support tried to escalate the ticket, but was told that there's nothing they can do, and I'll need to start over from scratch. Seriously? 2 decades of history locked away?

I'm now looking at alternatives, unless you gurus have suggestions that support doesn't know about.
