Problem with 401k/tax planner
Hello, I noticed this late last year and the problem is still there. Future 401k contributions from a paycheck correctly show as reductions to taxable income in the tax planner (items in red for projections). HOWEVER, for some reason contributions made year to date are NOT reflected at all resulting in overstated (and potentially majorly overstated) taxable income especially for those making catchup contributions. All pretax deductions should be removed from taxable income.
After checking the same problem is going on with HSA contributions. This is creating major planning errors
The employee contribution transfer type is not even showing up in transaction list. Can't even force the transaction into a tax category.

looks like I have the same issue

I believe everyone has the same issue. It's like it's treating everything as if it's a Roth 401k and it's not. You can't even go in and assign a tax line to it. It's a major problem
