Online Services Checking importing as credit card or vice versa
Saw a couple of discussions on this and was grappling with the same issue with much frustration.
In my case, my financial institution didn't support the older express web connect and wanted to use express web connect +.
Anytime I went through the steps to login to my bank and import the latest trans, it kept classifying my checking as a credit account and therefore I could not link it correctly.
Additionally it would not let me import my credit acct trans defaulting to Don't import this acct.
Tried all the suggested validating and repairing etc with no results.
Finally went into Tools>Account List and edited both accounts affected and deactivated online services for both.
Then I activated one of the accounts and went through the login process and now is labeling the accounts correctly (checking - credit) and letting me link appropriately.
Hope that helps others having same issue
