R54.9 Cloud Sync issue - desktop has older data than the cloud - creates errors (edit)

I’ve been a long time Quicken user under Windows and Web Browser and in this latest Windows version there is a serious bug when the cloud data is the most recent but the desktop version is forcing an incorrect update into the cloud and deleting all the recent data with the older desktop data.
If you get this message:
You are about to sync a file which has older data than the cloud.
Quicken will replace your cloud data with information from the current desktop data file.
Do you want yo continue?
DO NOT CONTINUE - even (as happen to me) the Quicken support person instructs you to continue. You will loss your recent cloud updates. Apparently this is no fix yet for this and since the cloud has no backups your data will be gone for good.
