Any info on why Goldmans Sachs (Folio Client) went from QFX to QIF downloads?

Folio Client unceremoniously removed the Quicken (QFX) download capability in September 2023 and then brought it back in January 2024, but with the less than useless QIF format, rendering the download service a major danger to investors. The new downloads have no detail on many dividends, tax payments etc and almost all stock transaction cause duplicate securities to be created and the associated transactions listed under the new investment.

Has anyone been able to get any useful information from them? I've not been able to get a response.
