Why does Quicken confuse two scheduled "PayCheck" transactions?

We have two similar Social Security payments scheduled as PayChecks - to allow tracking of tax information, deductions, etc.

Both come from the same Payer, and both come on the same Wednesday each month.

Each is entered into the same checking account register on a different day, well before the scheduled payment date.

Unfortunately, Quicken Premier always enters the same PayCheck twice, instead of entering the second PayCheck, as scheduled.

I have a similar issue with government payments. My husband and I each receive the same amount each month, into the same account, but Quicken only downloads one of the payments. I'm going to try entering them on different days to see if it makes a difference.
