Subtotal in Budget not working

I have had this problem for years using Mac Quicken and thought it would be fixed. Since it hasn't I thought I would add a post….

When I create a budget, and

see the category is not displaying the correct total, so I go to Jan and enter 0 for all months. Sometime it clears all the entries and creates the correct subtotal and sometime it just adds 0 to every month and therefore the subtotal is wrong. Again I have had this for years and alway manually change the totals. But I'm tired of doing this.

I am and expert in excel and write code, so I know there is something wrong here.
