Why has Quicken never done anything with the Interest Rate field information?

Something that has mystified me for several years now, is why Quicken took the time to build and highlight a interest rate field in the Account Details, (they even put a box around it for heaven's sake) yet never used this useful data in any of their reports? I think at the very least it could be displayed in the Account Balances Report, and at the very most used to project income in their future income models. Maybe it used and I don't know it?
