BUG: Budget year always wrong, doesn't remember "year-to-date" selection

I love the budgeting feature, but I have a few issues with it. My budget, for historical reasons, starts in October (so this year's budget began 10/2023).
- BUG: From 10/1/2023 to 12/31/2023, the budget would default to the correct year (2023). However, ever since 1/1/2024, the budget screen always returns to "Budget as of 10/2022" and I have to change the year each time to see the current year's budget. This happened with my 10/2022-9/2023 budget as well.
- FEATURE REQUEST: I wish the budget screen would remember my selection to look at "year-to-date totals", rather than always defaulting to "entire year totals"
I am using the latest version of Quicken Mac – Version 7.5.2 (Build 705.51955.100) – but this has been a problem for many releases.
