I'm trying to add a new investment account, but when I click on "add account" it only gives me options to add a checking, savings, or credit card account. What do I need to do?

If you go to Help > About Quicken, what Edition does it say you have?

Starter edition does not support investing accounts. If you have downgraded to Starter, you can keep existing investing accounts but you are not permitted to add new ones.
