Mac setting for registry start date

Is there a setting to make the Registry start a new entry each time on the current date?

    When you create a new transaction in a register that you haven't worked on in the current session, it will use the current date as the default. If you change the date on that transaction, it will use that changed date for the next new transaction in the same register. If you go to a different register, it will again start out using today's date.

    Are you seeing (or want) something different? There are not register settings to control how this works.

    Also, please confirm what version of QMac you're using. Your profile doesn't specify.
