Updating Citibank Connection Method Prompts BOA Error

I Highlighted my Costco CITI account and clicked on "Update Selected account online". First I was taken to the CITBANK splash page. There was no message about upgrading connections. Second, I went back to Quicken, Clicked on the CITI account, and a screen similar to this one popped up:
Only the screen hadBAND OF AMERICA - NOT CITI, so I exited. Then This screen popped up:
I also took a full screen shot, which I am not showing for security reasons, but which shows that the CITI account is highlighted and is the only account highlighted. My current status is this: (1) Costco CITI account is not updated. (2) The BOA account in question shows no data and clicking on it brings up the message "Quicken cannot Connect to this account" - and I am not trying to connect!!
This is the most destructive debacle I have ever encountered.
