• Click on Reports
• Click on New
• Click on Summary Report
• Default is Row=Category, Column=Time, Interval=None — you don't have to touch this
• Click on Continue to Customize
• Set Date Rate=Last Year
• Click OK

If you want to save the report, click in the top title are and give it a name, like "Income Statement 2023".

You can manually collapse any categories where you don't want to see the sub-categories by clicking the "v" icon next to the main category name. Or click the View icon to select Summary of all Items or Top-Level Items Only to reduce or expand the rows.
