(Sigh) I think I'm done...
Quicken has become less and less helpful and more and more frustrating to use. The latest: for some inexplicable reason, when I use one-step update, my Ally Bank account payments to Capital One NEVER show up. I verified the bank is sending these transactions by downloading directly from my bank. Capital One is the only transaction Quicken fails to show but now I'm wondering what else is missed. Unlike other accounts, Ally can never reconcile cleanly and this may be why.
I just paid for Quicken Classic Premier annual subscription and noticed something… In just 4 years the cost for this product has literally doubled! It was $45 in Feb 2020 and now it's $95. The ROI is just not there anymore, especially if extensive finagling is required to get what I need out of it. Just not worth it. That said - it is still the best option (which makes me sad).
