Quicken blasted my desktop version, now I can't get quicken to do anything

Since last week, I can't get Quicken to open - just the spinning wheel or a blank screen. If it does open, then I see the "File and Help" drop downs, but those disappear and just a blank screen and gray banner. Per my conversation with support, there is a known issue. Not sure if this is the same but I have been working on Quicken for Windows desktop for years and now nothing.

Mysteriously, it appears to be working again. I was unable to open it for several days
