Min/Max balance alert for investment account w/o split cash register?

Is there any way to set a minimum and maximum cash balance alert for an investment account that does not have a split cash register?

Many Investment accounts can have cash balances, checkwriting, direct deposit, EFT withdrawals.

They should be part of the alerts for min/max balances.

The point seems to be that the Min/Max Alert feature works at the top-level account balance such as shown in the account bar. The feature does not delve into the details of an investment account. So as currently programmed, there is no setting available to do what you want.

I believe that you need the cash split out for Min/Max to work … because it works on the entire account balance and can't separate out the cash otherwise.

@NotACPA Quicken separates the cash balance in investment accounts when showing Securities Value, Cash Balance and Total Market Value. It seems to keep track of what's in cash.
