Is One Step Update Freezing Fixed since R52.33 ? (edit)

Sorry, I have not been back to the community since I, and many others, were complaining about OSU freezing up a couple months ago. I cannot even find my post about it. It was a horrendous issue.

Anyway, I followed someone's instructions to go back to R-52.33 and it mostly worked but it didn't fetch data that was missing from weeks back, so I had to deal manually with many accounts to balance them.

It's now unclear to me if a TRUE FIX has been put in so I can update my Software. I saw where some upgrade in Jan fixed it? Did it really? I really don't want to fight that battle again.

I'm on Windows 10.
