Migration from QW2008 to QW2013 is failing.. (edit)

Migration from QW2008 to QW 2013 is failing & there is no support for QW2008. I need to migrate to QW2010 first to try to complete migration ultimately to Classic.

I am using Windows 10 , i7 Intel Processor, 32GB DDR, all updates

    This may help. Got this after several attempts to open QW2008 backk-up in QW2013

    Did you try using 2013? When I upgraded from 2004 I went directly to 2013. Are you using these steps?

    And FYI - If your Quicken was before 2010 you should have several files making up the data.  The main data file ends in .QDF.  All Quicken versions prior to QW2010 store your data in a series of files all sharing the same filename but with different extensions like  - .QDF .IDX, .QEL, .QPH  and all 4 of those files were rolled into a single-file .QDF starting in 2010. 

    I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
