Problems switching from Quicken 2009 to 2014 then to Download Quicken

I've been using 2009 for ages. Years ago I bought 2014 but didn't install it. A few months ago I installed 2014 and based on instructions, I imported the 2009 files and changed them to 2014 format. Then I installed Quicken Classic Delux but found that no entries (going back for years) in any accound (checking and savings and credit card) showed up as reconciled. I'd like to go back to Quicken 2014. How do I do that? What would 2014 backup files "look" like?

PLEASE HELP!!!

Start over. You should try going from 2009 to 2013 not 2014. Skip 2014. Go from 2013 to the new program. You can get 2013 for free to convert. Use this article. How to use an intermediate version to convert to a newer version

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

oh, oh, "volvogirl". Your comments say that your processes only work with U.S. versions of Quicken!! Any suggestions for we Canucks or suggestions on where to look for help?

Uninstall Quicken Subscription/Classic, install Quicken 2014, load Quicken 2014 data file. Quicken Subscription should have made a copy of your Quicken 2014 data file before it did its conversion. It should be in the BACKUP folder where your data file is.
