All stock transactions are tagged MiscExp -- WTH!!!

So I'm entering a stock purchase transaction and hit enter (I had messed up and put the share quantity in the Amount box - nothing in the Shares box - and was heading around to fix it by using enter to move between boxes.)

All of a sudden the screen changes to show everything as a MiscExp transaction instead of a sell or purchase. I'm kind of freaking out. 😳 See the attached screen grab.

I've tried going to a different account and back again, but no change. Using Quicken Classic Deluxe Version R55.15, Build 27.1.55.15 and Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2, OS build 19045.4046. Exiting the program and restarting it clears it up 🙂 but IT SHOULDN'T DO THAT!!!

Anyone else experience this or have an idea about how to prevent it?
