Tax Summary vs Tax Schedule

Hello,

I never noticed this before but my Transfers between bank accts seem to be correct on the Tax Summary but they report as "Auto Expense" in the Schedule "E" section of the Tax Schedule.

Can you please give me your thoughts?

    @temco_rep go into Account Details for your 717 Checking account and click on "Tax Schedule" at the bottom of the window.

    Verify that there is nothing in the "Transfers out" box. It might have been accidently populated with a tax schedule that is associated with "Auto expense".

    Thanks for the fast response! Its looks like we answered the question about "Auto" Do you have a suggestion what I should change that to? Also "Transfers out " is blank. What do you think?

    @temco_rep - I think you should just remove that entry and leave the field blank. Usually for a non-investment account those option tax fields are left blank, and tax line items are attached to categories.

    Also, transfers between bank accounts are not usually shown on tax reports.
