Can I track & categorize crypto income and expense transactions when used as a currency?

Does anyone know how to keep track of crypto (bitcoin) income and expense transactions when I make purchases or receive payments in bitcoin? All of the tracking methods I have found treat crypto as an investment and there is no way to assign an expense or income category in investment transactions.

Until the programmers at Quicken manage to improve Currency handling across the board, you will have to treat crypto transactions as investment Buy and Sell transactions. That's the only place in Quicken which currently allows up to 8 digits to the right of the decimal point.
Currencies used for banking accounts only allow 2 decimal places and do not support a variable number of decimal places or transactions with more than 10 digits (99,999,999.99)
