How to use new version of Canadian Quicken Mac

Question

Hi, been using very old version of Quicken on DOS. Just downloaded the latest Canadian version for Mac and it’s so different. Just wondering which version is similar to the DOS version? I want it for personal and business use. Thanks for anyone’s help and suggestions.

Since you're on a Mac, and asking "which version", there's not a lot of choices. There's really only one program, with the same interface and operations, with some different features flipped on or off in the software based on your subscription. Quicken Classic Deluxe and Classic Premier are nearly identical on the Mac. The additional business features that come with the Business & Personal subscription may or may not be useful to you at this point. The business features are newly-introduced and more has been promised for the months ahead. You can get a good idea of the existing business features by reading the Quicken Help pages for Business & Personal.

You will find little, if any software that behaves like its DOS equivalent.

You will have to fast forward 35 years and learn the new user interface-it isn't hard.  Good luck.
